Our thermal insulation works are carried out to a very high standard by our experienced installers. We provide advice and guidance on the thickness and type of insulation materials that are to be used to meet both EN & BS requirements. At IIS we source our insulation products from the most trusted brands in the industry.

Trace Heating is a system used to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels using heat tracing cables. Trace heating takes the form of an electrical heating element run in physical contact along the length of a pipe.  As with other elements of our business we work in collaboration with market leading manufactures to deliver high quality projects.

Insulation provides the ability of a duct to maintain its separate function without developing temperature on its external surface, outside the compartment in which the fire is present, and to stop radiant heat from igniting secondary services, igniting materials stored with a low ignition points or preventing pedestrian escape of the building through defined compartments.

IIS provide Installation of a wide range of cladding systems for thermal insulation. These installations galvanised, aluzinc, aluminium, stainless steel,  and coloured coated steel. Metal cladding for insulation from standard pipe casing and valve boxes to complex square to rounds can be manufactured in our Essex based workshop. 

Working with trusted subcontractors, we keep them accountable throughout the entire build. From sequence to production and quality control, we stay focused on the goal. 

As a multi discipline company, IIS can take on a multitude of projects which include, metal fabrications and installations, Industrial Painting, Cryogenic Works, Acoustic Works, Stud Welding and SSCL Clearance approved projects.
